Ford has the Mustang Cobra Jet 2010

After choosing to restore luster to the category Mustang, Ford has decided to use the historic amrchio as dozers for new high-speed models, a quail, the Cobra Jet, is about to leave for SEMA 2009 in Las Vegas. Ford Mustang Cobra Jet made his debut back in 1968, seven different standards of elegance and power. This new 2010 model is designed primarily as racing cars, like all its components. The production will begin in January, with first deliveries scheduled within the first quarter of next year.

When reviewing the 2009 2010 Ford Windstar we found plenty of passenger room, many times when we review new cars we find that the room available to passengers is limited, this was not the case with the 2009 2010 Ford Windstar. I got a good deal on it. I thought I might get 100,000 miles out of it if I was lucky. Almost 10 yrs. later and 211,00 miles of hard service it has never needed anything but a tune up, shocks and tires. It doesn't leak any fluids or use any oil. Im going to see just how long it will last. I am sold on these vans with the 4.6 liter engine. New Ford Focus XR5 Turbo 2009, Badged the Ford Focus ST in Europe, it could be the big wheels or the liftback profile - most likely a combinations of things - but ultimately it's a great-looking car, a stylish, sophisticated hot hatch that attracts attention in spades.
The new look is the most significant change for the new XR5 Turbo and though it's constrained to the front and rear aprons it still manages to give the car a new character.
Hexagonal 18-inch alloy wheels with gumball rubber lend the car a performance air. The XR5 Turbo is an aggressive hatch and a mild rear diffuser, twin exhaust pipes and slotted roof spoiler add to this impression.
During regular testing - driving the car to the shops, picking up bags of mulch from the nursery, commuting to work - the car attracted plenty of attention and this says a lot about not only the bright orange paint job but also the overall look of the Focus.

New Ford Shelby GT500 2009 : Reviews and Specs, American Muscle, Draws too much attention Traded in my 2008 ZO6 Corvette and never looked back. This car is what an American Soprts Car should be. Had a reflash on the computer done along with a Cold Air Kit and Longtubes and the car now puts over 600HP on the pavement. Also installed the FRRP Handling Pak and this thing just runs away from EVERYTHING on the track at Tx Motor Speedway, not to mention the winding back roads of the Tx Hill Country. Also have a 10 second TimeSlip from Alamo Dragway in San Antonio. The really cool thing though is that I can still eek out 20mpg on the interstate if I keep my foot out of it. Think I'm going to have to buy a Steeda Q650 Mustang to go along with this Shelby just so Ill have one of each from the only big horsepower factory Hot Rods still made in America. Then next year I hope to aquire one each Roush & Saleen Mustangs just so I'll have one from all the Big 4 Mustang Builders. It's really a thrill to run away from all the foreign cars from Japan, Germany, Italy, Etc.. in a good old Mustang, The original American Pony Car!

Overall I would say excellent work vehicle I had the 4.0 engine never let me down just sold it with 208,000 miles on it and bought a used sporttrac with same engine the 4.0 just make sure to change oil every 3,000 miles and it will work hard for you

New 2009 2010 Ford Fusion : Reviews and Specs

Ford has already said the car will get 33mpg hwy with the base engine and at least 38mpg city for the hybrid. Final figures should be 22/33 for the base car just like the Malibu. I suspect this will be the fastest I-4 powered midsizer in the class. This appears to be the best all around package in this segment. The Accord shoudl automatically be removed from best in class consideration for lacking a hybrid. On the surface, the Fusion gets new front- and rear-end styling — enough of a facelift that, from some angles, it looks like a whole new model. The edgy grille continues Ford’s “three-bar” chrome design cue in what’s bound to be a polarizing expansion of the theme.
Under its reshaped hood, the Fusion gets three powertrain options for 2010 - replacing the outgoing two motor lineup. The top two models will be equipped with a 6F35 six-speed automatic transmission with a manual shift gate. The entry-level four-cylinder version will come standard with a six-speed manual.
For 2010, the base four is upgraded to a 2.5-liter unit pumping out 175 horsepower and 172 pound-feet of torque with variable intake variable cam timing, new exhaust manifolds, and electronic throttle control. Ford says efficiency is up about 10 percent over the 2009 Fusion’s 20/28 city/highway mpg, though exact figures haven’t been released yet.
The next step up is a modified 3.0 liter V6 that puts out 240 horsepower and 228 pound-feet of torque. A new air induction system and torque-actuated variable cam timing help boost power. The new cam design uses torsional energy instead of pressurized oil to phase the camshaft, which Ford says will helps save a bit of fuel, as well as improve response time.
The 3.0 V6 is also E85-capable. Ford says fuel economy is up 4 to 6 percent over the 2009 model.
New for 2010 is a 3.5-liter V6 — standard on the ‘Sport’ model. With 263 horsepower and 249 pound-feet of torque on tap, it is essentially the same V6 used in the Flex, Edge and a handful of other Ford vehicles.
The 2.5- and 3.0-liter Fusions will come with available electronic power steering. What’s more, the 3.0 features an extra-aggressive deceleration fuel shutoff that Ford says will also come on 2.5-liter models late in 2010.

Ford, Some keys to success:1) Update your models within 4 years; don't stretch it out as long as you do (ie Ford Ranger has the same styling since 1993; the Focus went 7 years (2000 - 2007; don't even get me started with the Taurus) without serious updates. 2) Fuel economy...don't brag about 30 MPG; 30 MPG is not good enough. When you put hybrids in the Fusions, Focus', Verves, etc., then brag. 3) Bring new cars to market sooner. How can you increase market share when your competitors already have the concepts you speak of on the road now?4) Have a line up which will appeal to younger drivers (affordable and stylish). You have too many cars outside the reach of people of limited means. Give these people a reason to join the Ford family, especially at a young age, and get them to want to stay within the family regardless of age or status.5) Lose the conservative styling. Get the designers who created the Edge and Verve to lead and approve the design for other cars. Retire the designers of the Taurus and Lincolns. 6) Make more of your options standard equipment. People like a lot of standard equipment but do not want to be gouged.7) Improve quality. I do think it has improved. Use quality parts from suppliers. When you see a specific part failing repeatedly from a supplier which increase customer repair bills; hold these suppliers accountable; make them pay or find a better supplier.8) Lincoln should be the flagship and should have a look of their own instead of a rebadged Ford. Not sure what the marketing strategy is for this line up. I am sure the Fords are built on the same line as the Lincolns, but feel Ford should adjust their marketing by saying Fords are built on the Lincoln assembly line instead of saying Lincolns are built on the Ford assembly line.

I agree completely! I went to the UK on vacation and was jealous of the Ford Focus and even Fiesta designs that they get. I love the sleek two door hatchback and as a first time buyer I got a VW Rabbit, the NA Focus versions just aren't sharp and don't seem to be aimed at young buyers. As an European person I can tell you: Ford is doing fine in Europe, although because of the economic crisis affecting the total car sales, it affects Ford in Europe as well.I am curious about the American consumer: why do American cars have such a poor quality and poor plastic materials inside and why do consumers accept that? As an European person I hope that the design of Ford vehicles will not deteriorate when American engineers/ marketing execs help the engineers in Cologne to design European Ford vehicles. It is already a problem in Europe: German and Swiss people demand higher quality cars and materials than English people. I am in favour of the former party and put some extra quality in a car and I am prepared to pay for that.

Refreshed for 2009, the Escape addresses many of the issues that made it an almost unacceptable compromise, including the anemic performance, punishing ride, and poor brake feel. The stronger four-cylinder now boasts 177 horsepower in addition to its hybrid-electric drive, the revised suspension system includes a rear anti-roll bar, and the brakes feel something like normal. The Escape is a hybrid SUV with solid moves at an affordable price tag, for which no excuses need be made. Though an official fuel-economy rating has yet to be obtained for the new model, not much change is expected from 2008.
