The 2009 GL-Class is a 4-door, 7-passenger luxury sport-utility, available in 3 trims, ranging from the GL320... love this car, the only downside I have seen so far is that the car has a wired headset system. My Nissan truck is 5 years old and it has a wireless syetem. I picked up the car with wireless headsets for rear DVD which never worked. The customer service from the dealer has been disgusting in their approach to resolve the issue. After several trips to the dealer I was told that I need a wired headset and they made a mistake on headsets. I have asked them to modify the system to the wireless as the GL450 came with wireless headset when I purchased it. That was not the deciding factor on the purcahse however. I am in touch with the national customer service headquaters and waiting to see what they are willing do. BlueTEC to the GL550 4MATIC. Upon introduction, the GL320 BlueTEC is equipped with a standard 3.0-liter, V6, 210-horsepower, turbo, diesel engine that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 23-mpg on the highway. The GL550 4MATIC is equipped with a standard 5.5-liter, V8, 382-horsepower engine that achieves 13-mpg in the city and 17-mpg on the highway. A 7-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims.

Mercedez E Class 2010 , The engine range is likely to be shared with the rest of the E class range. That includes a 3.5 liter V6, a 5.4 liter V8 and an uprated 6.2 liter AMG V8. Diesels will likely also be on offer for the cabriolet, given how quiet they've become in recent years. Mercedes new generation of cleaner diesels expected in the cabriolet are: the 200, 220, 250 and 300 CDI, as well as the 350 BlueTec at the top of the range.

The C300 Sport Sedan is equipped with a standard 3.0-liter, V6, 228-horsepower engine that achieves 18-mpg in the city and 26-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard. The C63 AMG Sport Sedan is equipped with a standard 6.2-liter, V8, 451-horsepower engine that achieves 12-mpg in the city and 19-mpg on the highway. A 7-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.

The look: This is purely subjective so I won't say much besides that I love the new design language MB is using. 10 out of 10.The drive: The C300 has the smaller engine which is supposed to save gas. I really don't see any savings since I have been averaging 16.3 MPG and that is good mix of highway and city street driving. Not impressed. The engine has good torque from a stop but on the highway, I really miss the power of my Infiniti G35 which was very quick. This C300 feels a little slow for a luxury car. With 4 people, you really wish you bought the C350 I have Honda Civics beating me at lights which is embarrassing. Otherwise the ride is smooth as silk and very quiet. Almost no noise over bumps. 4 out of 10.

The interior: This is where I have my biggest problems. I think MB skipped on the money with the cheap interior. So much plastic in a $41,320 car? Absurd to see hard plastic and misfitted mouldings and trim in such a car. The sunroof malfunctioned and refused to close properly. The dealer fixed the problem in 5 minutes and was very kind to offer a reason. The retracable Navigation screen is a joke. They should just leave it open because it seems it does not want to open and close. In fact, last week at the dealership, the screen would not open and since I was there already, they repaired it as well. The rear seats are too small for adults and the headroom is poor. In the front, my shoulders touch the person next to be. Interior space is quite small and feels smaller with the dark interior plastic. 1 out of 10.The value: As I said, I was able to pay less than half because of a trade in I had. Otherwise I would not say this represents a good value. For $41,320 as mine stickered and paid (without trade-in) I would not buy one out right. A lease may be the answer if you are looking for a better value. Resale value is below average. A Lexus holds value much better and is cheaper initially. 2 out of 10.

Overall: I have to say I am a bit disappointed with MB. On one hand they have designed a beautiful machine, yet on the other hand, they managed to cut corners in quality and reliability. For example, the drive is smooth and quite but on tight turns, the 4Matic system binds up and shudders. The dealer said to me that in time it should improve but they have had many complaints about this problem and it is an engineering problem. The other two problems I mentioned are not major items but annoying when spending $41,320 on a car. The interior as I said also seems to be assembled under rushed conditions for the glovebox is loose, the power sunroof controls are loose and other small pieces. Now it is only 3 months so I am begining to wonder what this will be like in 3 years?

Good car overall with a few minor issues.. trunk light fell out three times due to sun exposure and or bumpy roads. I love the ride on the highway and its great on gas!!!..just wish the dash was more decked out for the price i paid..and that plastic part that pushes the seat belt out should be of a stronger material..not as luxury filled as people would think of when they think of a mercedes benz.

Far and away, the very best Mercedes Benz I've owned which include 3 SL's. This dream car has room for 4 adults and can accelerate 0-80 faster than a fighter jet. With 21,000 miles and nothing more than routine service, I would have to say it's a tipical Mercedes! Do yourself a favor, test drive this luxury vehicle on a nice day, with the top down, then again with the top up in city traffic. You won't believe how quiet it is.

The C63’s 6.3-liter V8 is a work of art. And it is also the work of one pair of hands. About performance: Of the cars in the competitive set, the C63 AMG, with 451 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque, is the class of the field, and trumps its closest competitor, the Audi RS4 by 31 horses. Torque-wise, the C63 surpasses the Lexus IS-F, which is whipped handily by a 72 lb-ft advantage over its 371 lb-ft. The Cadillac CTS-V did offer a 400 hp / 395 lb-ft engine choice, but it is currently out of production.The amazing thing about the C63 AMG is that before we pulled out the Monroney window sticker to check on pricing, we were anticipating an as-tested price north of $72,000. We were too high. All this could be had for $66,160, transportation included.

The German car company has had great success building luxury SUVs, and early next year it will take on the luxury compact SUV market with the all-new GLK. Making its world debut in Beijing, the GLK features a more chiseled, angular style somewhat reminiscent of the first Mercedes SUV, the G-Class. For the U.S. market the new model will be sold as the GLK350, sporting a 3.5-liter V6 engine putting out 268 horsepower. Available with two- or four-wheel drive, the GLK comes with a slew of standard features, including 19-inch wheels, dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth connectivity and multiple airbags. A rear-seat entertainment system featuring two eight-inch screens, wireless headphones and an integrated dual-source DVD player will also be available.
