2011 2012 Audi Q5 hybrid at the Los Angeles Motor Show, Upcoming Los Angeles Motor Show, Audi will officially launch the Q5 hybrid, hybrid version of the compact SUV from Ingolstadt. The car will debut on the market in 2011 and will be the first hybrid SUV to a compact size. At the moment it is not known what will be the technical scheme of the Audio Q5 hybrid. Most likely, the hybrid SUV will be powered by the 2.0 TFSI four-cylinder 211 hp, combined with 34-hp electric motor, will develop a total maximum power of 245 hp. This is the same technical scheme that brought the Audi A8 hybrid concept, on display in March at the Geneva Motor Show. In addition, the hybrid Q5 will share many components with the A4 hybrid will debut next year.
In the future, the range of hybrid versions of the Audio Q5 will not be limited only to the hybrid. The sports SQ5 could adopt the same pattern of hybrid Volkswagen Touareg and Porsche Cayenne Hybrid Hybrid, both moved from the 3.0 TFSI engine from 333 hp V6, combined with the electric motor of 47 hp, for a total of 380 hp.
