Camry Solara 2009 :review and Specs

The Solara, based on the previous Camry, is styled similarly to the Lexus SC 430 and has excellent interior quality. The standard engine is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder. A smooth and refined 3.3-liter, 210-hp V6 is optional. The V6 is paired with an automatic transmission that allows manual overrides. We found the ride comfortable, but handling was not sporty. The rear seat is relatively roomy. Our tested convertible suffered from some body shake, but the top is well insulated. The convertible received a good in the IIHS frontal-offset-crash test and an acceptable in the side-crash test. The Solara will be dropped after the 2008 model year.
Pros:
I just purchased the Magnetic Grey Metallic with the Dark Stone Leather interior and black roof. This is a Gorgeous Car! The 3.3 liter V6 is very responsive, and the interior is 100% luxury. I opted for the Nav, which is feature full, and the JBL Stereo is really truly amazing, even with the rag top down.
Have had the SE 4 cylinder for 2 weeks. I am getting 31+ mpg on average in the city and highway. Car ride is very quite and solid construction. Worth a long look when compared to the Honda Accord Coupe. I bought my Solara for 19K. The Honda was 2K more. The Altima Coupe doesn't even compare. Acceleration is smooth for a 4 cylinder, fit and finish is quite good.

Cons:
I would have paid more for the backup sensors or video, but the lack of these items did not have any effect on my decision to purchase this car. The seatbelt arrangement is awkward. The side view mirrors could be a little larger

Overall Review:
Beautiful styling, luxurious interior, comfortable responsive handling, excellent price. Overall, for the convertible shopper who needs 4 comfortable seats, there is no competition.
