2011 New Honda CBR250R Price, Reviews and Specification

Honda brings its 250 sportbike to the South Asia (Indonesia, Thailand, malaysia) with the new 2011 Honda CBR250R. "This is really an amazing machine we're adding to Honda's list of models for 2011," said Honda Powersports Press Manager Bill Savino. "The CBR250R is specifically aimed at new riders, yet it's packed full of high-tech features and offers great performance, all in a lightweight, affordable package. This new model expands another segment of the market for Honda buyers." True, the 250 power and performance may not generate as much excitement as near 200 horsepower production Superbikes, but the little CBR250R is Honda’s biggest news in the 2011 sportbike model lineup. The new CBR’s chassis features a non-adjustable 37mm fork, with Honda’s Pro-link rear suspension offering five-position preload adjustment. Steering geometry consists of a 25-degree rake and 95mm (3.74 inches) trail. Wheelbase is 53.9 inches, while seat height rings in at 30.9 inches. A small bike, th  e CBR250 rolls on street standard 17-inch wheels, with a claimed curb weight of 359 pounds (Ninja 250 375 pounds).
Stylewise the new CBR looks an awful lot like the new VFR1200, particularly the layered fairing. Instrumentation behind the tallish windscreen is an analog tach sitting atop a digital speedo, which is centered on the blue backlit LCD area.
The biggest question mark with the little Honda is its price tag, which is still to be determined. Kawasaki’s Ninja 250R retails for $3999. Recently speaking with Kawasaki reps, we learned the Japanese marque is willing to break even on the 250 with the rationale that a Ninja 250 purchase today equals a Ninja ZX-6R or ZX-10R purchase tomorrow. And how integral is the Ninja 250 in the Kawasaki lineup? It’s the top-selling unit!
Big Red will offer up an CBR250R which utilizes the companies combined ABS technology.

True, the 250 power and performance may not generate as much excitement as near 200 horsepower production Superbikes, but the little CBR250R is Honda’s biggest news in the 2011 sportbike model lineup. The CBR250R will be built in Thailand and launched globally in November.

Announcing a visit to the political-institutional ex-Karmann factory in Osnabrück, Volkswagen announced that the production between the lines of the new Golf Cabriolet will start next spring, right at the plant in question.

The arrival of the German lines of the new discovery will create a number according to a statement from VW Martin Winterkorn 1800 new jobs by 2011. To date, employees have a total of Osnabrück 1000. The new Golf Cabrio will be born with a traditional canvas roof and will result in the displacement of commercial Eos.

The coupe-cabriolet, currently attributed to the C segment, will make a jump in class with the arrival of the next generation and will be repositioned within the range of the VW Passat Variant discovery. The transaction will also result as the new first name of the model: Passat Cabriolet.

Second, the paint is starting to get very small rust spots all over the body which after using my finger nail, I discovered their coming off. What's troubling is the silver trim under the windows has small rust spots as well which are not coming off. We paid an extra $500 for that paint and it's disappointing to have your first new car with these cosmetic problems. I'm expecting more in the future so it's good that I have a good warranty.

We test drove the MDX, Q5, RX... this is by far the best bang for the buck

Found that the Edge is a more responsive, quick little zippy car, with plenty of storage for me.Let me explain the (not letting it sit part) I drive it aprox 10 miles round trip each day were it sits most of the time. The battery will not stay up if you drive it that way. I traded the Frestyle for the same reason, but I thought that an aftermarket car starter was causing the problem all along, so I just lived with a battery charger once in a while. Ford and the dealer stated that their was a TSB about that topic on most of the new higher end Ford's and the solution was a trickle charger to make up for the lack of driving

When you look at value for money I truely believe you can't get a better deal for your money. I drove the car as a rental for 2 months over 3000 miles on the bumpy roads of New England. The car looks timeless and good. Whether you visit your local pharmacy or pull infront of a 5 star hotel, the car fits the situation. It feels great and the interior is very spacisous. Can't believe it, since I own a G500 and a Porsche Cayenne. The car feels very solid and the suspension is incerdibly good and firm. Did not expect that from a car in this price category. True, some improvement in the interior finishings and the plastic parts is advisable. But over all a solid purchase and a formidable timeless drive. Oh, love the flex fuel. Saves a lot of money on the gas.

We researched several large SUV's and narrowed it down to the Armada and the Expedition, and Ford won us over. One of the biggest challenges is finding one with the options and colors that are desired, as the market for full size V8 SUV's has shrunk considerably. With 3 kids and frequent trips to Canada and South Florida, we are definitely in the group that still needs the space that only a monster like the Expedition can provide. Gas mileage, while low, isn't much of a consideration when looking at comfort and safety vs. fuel economy - people that need a truck like this know what they're getting into. We opted for the Limited edition in Royal Red with black leather interior. Let me say that this truck is beautiful in a sinister sort of way (good thing). With an interesting lack of chrome (except for the 20" wheels), the truck looks downright demonic because of its already aggressive stance and far-too-bright headlight/foglight combo. The Sync system, while a bit complicated in tandem with the navigation system, is something that no one else offers and, so far, has been a huge plus. The ability to "rip" CD's directly to the truck's hard drive (with album cover and track info) is a great benefit and makes storing a large library of music easy and accessible. Along the same vein, the weather and traffic info that Sirius Radio provides is useful and informative. Get the backup camera and backup sensors. With the large headrests and the big blind spots, you will need them. Heated and cooled front seats really are just silly, but work well. We have bucket seats in the second row, which are also heated. Again, silly. I do, however, applaud Ford for making something this luxurious that doesn't have "Navigator" stamped on it. Also, with the Expedition, you have a myriad of ways to enjoy media. From playing a DVD in the front system to separating the audio, most everyone can do their own thing.

Full-size sport-utilities aren't known for their driving manners, but the latest-generation of vehicles from both Ford and General Motors offer real progress in delivering a more car-like impression.

In this regard, the Ford Expedition tracks down the highway with excellent straight-line stability, negotiates forest roads with surprising agility, and absorbs impacts from bumps or broken pavement without straying from its path. It maintains a surprisingly calm ride considering its truck heritage.
