2010 Ford Transit Connect Wagon XLT Reviews and Specification

The 2010 Transit Connect Wagon is a 4-door, up to 5-passenger full size van, available in two trims, the XL and the XLT. tried out a xl and xlt wagon neither has much power, the tranny is noisy and shifts funky. would be a great value for small handy man or elctricianwagon which has second row seat would be a good crew hauler, if ya did not have to haul many tools. i was really excited about buying a company vehicle that could haul aa crew. but for the money i would buy a honda element, more room, fuel mileage is as good or better. and the quality of interior is aleast twice as good, and you get the buttons on a honda for the stripped xl price. plus they do look better on the road.Upon introduction, both trims are equipped with a standard 2.0-liter, I4, 136-horsepower engine that achieves 22-mpg in the city and 25-mpg on the highway. A 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.
This van is much better in Europe with their choice of diesel and gasoline engines and variety of trannies. I think this project will fail in USA as it is very poor adaptation of a better europian car.Additionally, I do not have much trust in quality of this van. Some will tell you its not big enough to work out of . its small yes but if loaded right you can work out of have a work bench with a small stool. it has a payload of 1600lbs we loaded it down and it didn't even looked loaded. it zips around just fine and sips gas. if your in business and could use this i would be running to trade in your big gas hogs on this little gem of a van.
