Does the KTM Ready To Race mantra work for MotoUSA? It sort of sounds like a little bit of a challenge, so we decided to take KTM up on it with the 2009 KTM 450 XC-W. We sourced a 2009 KTM 450 XC-W and 2008 AMA Hare & Hound Sr. Class Champion Chilly White to test it out. I think you sum up well what people like about the KTM 2t's. To bad you couldn't get more time on it to play with the power valve settings. Another nice feature. Most manufacturers put a cheap plastic or tiny metal skid plate on their bikes that, if you ride where you actually need a skid plate, the owner will ditch immediately for a plate that acutally provides protection. Might as well save the manufacturing costs if it's not going to do the job.
