The five-seater Urban Cruiser will be offered with two engines, a 1.3-litre VVT-i petrol with 100bhp (75kW) and 132Nm of torque, and a 1.4-litre D-4D AWD with 89bhp (66kW) and maximum torque of 205Nm between 1,800rpm and 2,800rpm. Toyota says the 1.4 D-4D has the lowest C02 emissions for any AWD passenger car at 130g/km. Its average fuel consumption figure is 57.7mpg. Both engine types make use of a 6-speed transmission.
