BMW continues to roll out the fruits of its industry-leading EfficientDynamics engine programme in Australia which brings the triple benefits of high-performance, low consumption and low emissions. The BMW 330d will join the rest of the updated 3-Series range. Entry level to the 3-Series diesel club is the 320d Executive, which is priced from $54,500. The 320d’s four-cylinder diesel returns a scant 6.0L/100kms which also results in a concession on LCT for buyers.
The 330d is not only a fuel-miser, that hefty torque figure ensures it has the performance expected of a six-cylinder BMW. The 3-Series oiler will run from 0-100km/h in 6.2 seconds, on its way to an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h!
