Suzuki RM-Z450 2009 : Reviews and Specs

Suzuki RM-Z450 2009

Suzuki RM-Z450 2009 ,Our testers all noted the Suzuki's cornering ability, though some praised it higher than others. The aggressive entry was met with mixed reviews. Showa and Suzuki have a good working relationship. Suspension was suitable for our wide range of physical size and riding ability. The smooth, usable power puts down fast lap times, but of the EFI trio, the RM-Z is the most difficult to get startedErgonomics are comfortable and allow riders to take full advantage of the aggressive chassis. While we were all impressed with the Suzuki’s engine performance out on track, in the pits it isn’t the easiest to start. Two kicks minimum. And sometimes three or four kicks are required if you don’t have the piston at TDC. And despite the RM-Z being endowed with EFI, it still employs a carburetor-like fast idle/choke switch on the throttle body as well as a hot start, whereas the Honda and Kawasaki do away with both. Problems with Suzuki’s drivetrain were few and far between. Although Minor claimed that the bike popped out of out gear once or twice, other test riders never encountered such a problem and we’re more than pleased with its versatile gearing and light and progressive-feeling clutch.Another plus was the RM-Z’s narrow seat, Pro Taper handlebars, and extra-wide footpegs, combining for a very intuitive riding position. Controls and levers are placed at a natural distance for all of our vastly different sized riders and help promote confidence allowing the rider to extract full performance out of its sharp chassis.

The Suzuki DR-Z400S 2009 : Reviews, First Ride, and Specs

The Suzuki DR-Z400S 2009 :

The Suzuki DR-Z400S 2009 :

The Suzuki DR-Z400S 2009 :The Suzuki DR-Z400S is one of the most popular middle-weight dual-sports and one of the main reaons Suzuki sponsored the AMA . The DR-Z isn't meant for long road trips along the highway, and the Dunlop 606 tires we spooned on aren't either. However, the 400S can handle it if you can. Bear Camp Road is a blast, but we constantly wanted to leave the pavement and go exploring on the network of surrounding logging roads. The DOHC motor keeps things interesting but aftermarket companies have developed tons of product to boost performanceWith demand for affordable, versatile transportation at a premium, Suzuki has done well to leave the DR-Z400S alone." WRONG!!!! Why apologize for Suzuki's shortcomings? Suzuki should have updated the trans to a 6 speed (or at least a wider spread 5 speed), fixed the niggling engine/trans problems once and for all, and put a bigger tank and a more reasonable seat on it! Years ago. Suzuki has done essentially NOTHING to improve this bike compared to the 2003 I owned. Those simple changes would make it a far more versatile and enjoyable dualsport. AS IT IS, most committed 400S owners end up sinking another $1,000 into a larger tank, a Corbin or similar seat, real engine and radiator guards. Your rationalization about the seat is ridiculous - almost all 400S owners would give up a little "MX" functionality for a comfortable seat. Just to illustrates Suzuki's idiotic approach, essentially the same seat is provided on the DR650, a bike with absolutely no "MX" pretensions. The 400S "MX" seat was born from marketing hype, and in spite of years of negative customer feedback the same dismal crap turns up year after year

New Suzuki XL7 2009 2010 :Great Bang for the Buckby

Handling a little slugish, but only compared to sport cars.
I went out looking to buy a used land rover discovery and thought I had found one when I arrived at the dealership. When I got there the salesperson directed me to take a look at the XL7. I thought XL7, I'm not going to drive a Suzuki. Well I quickly changed my mind when he showed me the redesigned model for 2007. All the features and the great price. Well things only got better when I drove it. The car had the performance and comfort that I had been looking for, that's saying a lot since I'm a 6'1" 300+lbs man. Needless to say later that night I drove off in my new XL7. The car has not set foot in the shop since I purchased it and that was over 1 year ago an 30,000 miles. Yes, I drive alot! My family also loves it the comfort of the back seat and the convenience of the third row paired with the adjustable rear suspension is a god send when you have a large family. The powerful v6 pulls a car full of 200+ lbs seven passengers without as much as a hessitation. So I definetely recommend this vehicle. I expect to buy a second one sometime early next year

New 2009 Suzuki Splash: Reviews and Specs

The Splash is Suzuki’s fourth world strategic model. It was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2007 and has earned high praise since going on sale in Europe this spring. It’s built in Hungary by Suzuki production subsidiary Magyar Suzuki and is the first Suzuki-branded model to be imported into Japan.
Suzuki created the Splash using a platform based on that of the Swift, which is renowned for its high level of driving performance. It newly developed the engine, body, chassis, and seats and tuned them through extensive tests on European roads in pursuit of world-class performance, handling, and ride comfort.
The Splash has a youthful exterior design that’s also the result of extensive work in Europe. A tall body enables the Splash to be compact on the outside but roomy on the inside, allows people to step in and out with ease, and realizes great passenger- and luggage-carrying convenience. Plus, simple, contemporary interior trim with fresh, colourful design touches adds enjoyment to every drive.

Suzuki Grand Vitara 2008 2009 : Review and specification

The Grand Vitara is Suzuki’s upscale compact SUV that replaced the Sidekick in 1999 and was the first Suzuki sold in North America powered by a 6-cylinder engine. Suzuki describes the Grand Vitara as the perfect combination of space, power, and 4-wheel drive, with seating for five and better fuel economy than many larger SUVs.Love this vehicle! Lots and lots of elbow and leg room. Very comfortable seats. Adjustable driver seat, tilt steering wheel. Coldest air conditioning, and powerful fan to cool vehicle. Back seat has plenty of leg room. Plenty of head room. Rear door opens to side (easy to wash window) not like hatchback. It has a nice, smooth ride. Great turning radius! I'm a tall, heavy-set female with a bad back and I love this vehicle! Oh, I like the fact that the Grand Vitara has a full-sized spare tire and not a 50-miler, and Suzuki has the best warranty out there right now. The electrical security system is another PLUS!Only drawbacks I could find: arm rest was low for my comfort but I am getting use to it, and the steering wheel controls are not lit at night. I also found that there is a horrendous noise caused by the aerodynamics when the back windows are lowered more than half-way. But then I'm told all SUV's and trucks are like that now. OH, be sure to test drive this at night and see how well you like the headlights. They freaked me out when I brought it home overnight. This "problem" can easily be fixed. The 2008 Grand Vitara is a 4-door, 5-passenger sport-utility, available in 6 trims, ranging from the Base 2WD to the Luxury 4WD. Upon introduction, the Base 2WD is equipped with a standard 2.7-liter, V6, 185-horsepower engine that achieves 16-mpg in the city and 22-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard, and a 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional. The Luxury 4WD is equipped with a standard 2.7-liter, V6, 185-horsepower engine that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 21-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard. The 2008 Grand Vitara is a carryover from 2007. The 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara receives a remote fuel door release, upgraded sound deadening materials, a newly designed climate control head unit, a standard tire-pressure-monitoring system and a standard sunroof on the XSport Package. Once again, longer drives I'd prefer greater comfort but overall the value is very good. I would have expected better gas mileage for a vehicle in this category but the power and pick up is quite significant. It is a matter of personal preference. I have not seen many in the LA area and have been asked about it from younger (teens and 20's) folks when gassing up. Good value all the way around!
Pros:
Lots of elbow and leg room! Comfortable seats. Stylish. Great price.Roomy , Nicely equipped
Good off-road prowess
Cons:
Arm rest a bit low for my comfort. Horrible wind noise with back windows down.Ligths poor, Average highway performance , Questionable resale value , Narrow rear door openings

Suzuki Swift 2008 2009 : Review and Specification

Suzuki Swift 2008 2009 : Review and SpecificationThe new Swift is more eye-catching, more spacious, more refined, more user-friendly, and a whole lot more enjoyable to drive than anything else in the compact-car category. And it gives an exciting glimpse of the new ideas and design approaches that will shape Suzuki models in years to come.
Exterior
Suzuki's exciting new direction in car design is instantly apparent in the exterior styling of the new Swift.
In contrast to the monoform styling adopted for many vehicles in the supermini category, the new Swift has a 1.5-box style thatSuzuki Swift 2008 2009 : Review and Specification communicates an unmistakable sense of dynamism and substantiality; it consistently earned praise among European motorists who collaborated with the design programme.
Interior
Inside the new Swift, the driver enjoys an environment that reflects a focus on style, sportiness, and driving pleasure.
The wraparound look of the glass surfaces is continued in the cabin design, creating not only a chic look but also a feeling of involvement with the car and confidence in it. Sporty features including a three-spoke steering wheel, a spherical shift knob, and an illuminated ring around the speedometer make driving even more enjoyable.
Engine
For efficient, enjoyable performance that meets every driver's needs, the new Swift comes with a choice of three comprehensively upgraded engines (the 1.3-litre M13A petrol engine, the 1.5-litre M15A petrol engine, and the 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine) and with choice of transmissions (a five-speed manual, a five-speed Manual Transmission Automatic, and a four-speed automatic).
Safety

Peace of mind for users is always a top priority for Suzuki, so the new Swift incorporates the advanced technologies for safety and security.
Developing the body from scratch enabled the engineering team to realize an outstandingly crashworthy structure; one in which high-tensile steel and tailored blanks are used extensively to ensure lightness and strength. It also enabled the team to adopt structures (notably in the bonnet, fenders, wipers, and front bumper) that help protect pedestrians in the event of contact.

In the cabin, users are further shielded from impact forces by a collapsible steering column, leg-injury-mitigating brake and clutch pedals, front-seatbelt pretensioners and force limiters, energy absorbing trim, front airbags, and available side and curtain airbags.

And to give users even greater peace of mind, exemplary protection from theft is realized by a keyless start system.Suzuki Swift 2008 2009 : Review and Specification
