The 2009 Gallardo is a 2-door, 2-passenger luxury sports car, available in one trim only, the LP560-4 Coupe. Upon introduction, the Gallardo is equipped with a standard 5.2-liter, V10, 552-horsepower engine that achieves 11-mpg in the city and 23-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional. I absolutely love the standard 4wheel drive. I chose the optional carbon-ceramic-disc braking system with eight-piston Brembo calipers up front, and four-piston calipers at the rear.The rotor size is 14.4 inches at the front and 14 inches at the rear, so stoping power is phenomenal! I recommend the brake option at an average of an extra $760, but it is worth it! The audio system is outstanding in this car, the speakers are clear and they dont rattle at all (unless theyre blown..of course) I dont like the fact that you cant adjust the seats, so comfort is limited. The gas mileage is great for a Lamborghini..but not great for me since i live 40 miles from Denver where i work, and I can get from home to work and halfway home on a full tank. Every thing in this car is within reach, such as radio buttons, and air conditioning/heater controls. Instrument cluster is easily viewed from any angle and is very bright at night.
