The Soul is Kia’s all-new compact vehicle that Kia describes as an urban passenger vehicle.Love the car. We bought the Exclaim for my wife about 6 weeks ago and I traded in my Lincoln Town Car on the Plus this past week. I would feel comfortable recommending this car to anyone. Purchased both my vehicles from King Kia in Gaithersburg, MD. Great service, excellent sales rep. The unique styling features an angled window line, rounded nose, large headlights and chrome grille. Interior access is easy, thanks to tall doors and a high seating position, and the Soul features what Kia calls a “laid back” dashboard with a three-dial instrument cluster and a “floating” center stack that slopes up and away for ideal access to the audio system. Soul owners will have multiple options to personalize the interior with different colors, fabrics, lighting and audio systems. The Kia Soul is a small four-door hatchback similar to the Scion xB. When it goes on sale as a 2010 model it will be powered by a base 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 120 hp. A 140-hp, 2.0-liter four-cylinder is optional. Standard safety equipment includes full-length curtain air bags and electronic stability control.
