Being a current SHO owner and an enthusiast I am very welcoming to a new SHO model. I am however slightly disappointed they did not use the current body style Taurus. Don't get me wrong, the newly designed one also looks very good and was quite the talk of the auto show this year, It seemed I heard people talking about it all over the floors of the show. Rev-matching paddle shifters? Very nice indeed, but what about those of us who want to row through the gears in a traditional manual trans? I think Ford will pull a Dodge Challenger on us and release a full on manual trans in year two of the new SHO. However for now, Thank you Ford for brining back the SHO despite years of being dormant.Obviously they saw how well Dodge was doing with the Charger and wanted a piece of the action. Maybe next time they will come up with something original. It would be interesting to see how the two line up on a spec. sheet.
