The base 1.8 S will retail for $13,598, or $1,000 less than the 2008 model. However, the Value Option Package is up $200 to $1,600. Meanwhile, the MSRP for the 2009 Versa 1.8 SL is set at $16,498 -- $900 under the current 2008 price. The costs of the various option packages for the SL remain unchanged. Also, Nissan will add $75 to the freight and delivery charges, for a total of $1,250.There are no other changes to report about for the new model year -- at least as far as the 5-door hatchback is concerned. The 2009 Versa Sedan has yet to be introduced.
