The New Honda Hero Hunk 150 cc 2010 2011 has now been cosmetically upgraded and christened Special Edition. Apart from some snazzy graphics and new paint scheme there are no mechanical changes. This machine has almost similar power and torque to CBZ xtreme, ie. 14.2bhp at 8500 rpm and 12.8 nm at 6500 rpm. Then engine displacement is 149.2 cc . And the engine is set to have tumble flow ( I can't comment over it as do not have enough information about it). The Hunk now sports a racing bull insignia across the tank accompanied by a Special Edition badge on it's tank extensions.The Hero Honda Hunk Special Edition will also sport red alloy wheels, dual-tone seat with red colored rider's seat, along with a sports red finish for the front forks and rear shock absorbers. Even the spark plug cap and the cylinder head get to sport the overall red theme.The Hunk Special Edition seems to have been adequately garnished in the looks department. The bike still retains it's single cylinder, air-cooled 149.2cc engine pushing out 14.4 PS and churning out 12.8 Nm of torque.

I was asked to test the latest Honda Wave 125i and what a ball I had. The average traffic light see 20-odd scooters take-up pole position at each set of lights in race-start fashion, ever throttle is pinned as the red light turns to green, releasing what sounds like a million bees gunning for the hive. Okay, so racing on a public road is illegal, but this is not racing it's called commuting to home and work on a daily base for most Thai's living in the busy metropolitan of Bangkok.I'm pleased to say the 2011 Honda Wave 125i four-stroke 124.9cc engine fares well with it rapid pick-up, the only bummer being that not much changed since the last time we tested the Honda Wave 125i. The Honda Wave 125i with PGM-FI (fuel-injection) produces none of that wacky powerband you'd expect in the days that Honda Wave was equipped with a simple carburettor; rather, a smooth, predictable power delivery greets you then reliable propels you past 110km/h. Yep, motorway commutes are on. The Honda Wave 125i is stable at speed too, thanks also to the large wheel and centuries of development. Large wheels and well developed suspension cushions the rider from bumps excellently; good suspension proved useful in downtown Bangkok where the roads are not always of the best quality, and we didn't want to turn this test in a helmet review.The dual piston caliper front disc and rear drum brake do a good job of slowing the light and agile Honda Wave 125i down. Of all motorcycles in Thailand the Honda Wave has one of the best brakes you can find in Thailand, Honda clearly has the riders safety at heart.The overall build quality seems light-years ahead from the milk-bottle-cap materials used on some of cheap runarounds. The under seat storage space is not as impressive as you can find on some other scooter or motorcycle models but it's the overall durability and reliability that makes the Honda Wave the most sold motorcycle in Thailand.

New Honda Fit / Jazz Hybrid: First Official Pictures, Prices and Specification

These are the first official photos of Honda's Paris Motor Show-bound, Fit / Jazz Hybrid. Until recently, it was not clear if the subcompact hybrid model would be launched in markets outside Japan. And while now we know that the hybrid model will make its way to Europe with sales starting in early 2011, Honda officials have yet to announce any plans to offer the car in North America.
The newest member of the Japanese firm's hybrid family employs the same 1.3-liter gasoline engine and a continuously-variable automatic transmission with an electric motor sandwiched between them as the Insight. We don't have output figures yet, but don't expect any significant differences over Honda's dedicated hybrid model.


To differentiate the hybrid version from the standard Jazz / Fit models, there is a new grille and front bumper design, while the head lamp and tail light crystals have been re-trimmed. The hybrid model also gets what appears to be a panoramic glass top plus an optional bespoke Lime Green metallic exterior color.
Along with the pictures of the European market model, we also have some leaked brochure shots of the JDM version which is scheduled to arrive in Japanese showrooms in October with prices rumored to begin at around 1.6 million yen, or about US$19,000 / €15,100 at the current exchange rates.
More details should be announced before the opening of the Paris Motor this September
