Mercedes today released the official photos of the new S 63 AMG in its final shape. The house had advanced model with a gallery on the copy "rigged" as the famous Rote Sau, the 300 SEL 6.8 AMG finished second in its race debut at the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps in 1971.
The big news of the S 63 AMG is hidden in the bonnet of course: the new 5.5 twin-turbo V8 has replaced the previous 6.2 naturally aspirated V8 525 hp and 630 Nm, dramatically improving its values both in terms of performance than on consumption and emissions .
Engine from now the sports version of Sonderklasse is capable of delivering its powerstep "base" (...) the beauty of 545 hp and 800 Nm, giving part of the AMG performance package-thanks to passage of the boost pressure from 1.0 to 1.3 bar and a further dose of nastiness to the insatiable, reaching the impressive precision values of 570 hp and 900 Nm
