The AFF SUZUKI CUP is a biennial football competition organised by the ASEAN Football Federation and contested by the national teams of Southeast Asia. Indonesia and Vietnam have been chosen as co-hosts for the group stage of the AFF SUZUKI CUP 2010. Both are no strangers when it comes to hosting this event. Indonesia co-hosted the tournament in 2002 and 2008 while Vietnam were hosts in 1998 and co-hosts in 2004. A qualifying round will be held from 22 - 30 October 2010 in Vientiane, Laos. Cambodia, Laos, Philippines and Timor Leste will compete in a round-robin tournament for the two remaining spots in the tournament proper. A total of eight teams will vie for the AFF SUZUKI CUP trophy and US$100,000 in prize money from 1 – 29 December 2010. The top two teams from the qualifiers will join the top six seeded ASEAN nations - Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam to make up the final field of eight nations. The Semi-finals & Finals will be played on a home and away format.

In the future, the Volkswagen Group will be present in the productive life of Porsche. In fact, the Cajun will be produced at Audi in Ingolstadt, and the new Boxster and Cayman will be assembled in the former system Karmann of Osnabruck. As reported by Automotive News, "the all-new Porsche Cajun will be produced in Ingolstadt, also to further exploit synergies with the Audi Q5. In fact, the two SUV models will share the same modular platform with a longitudinal engine. However, the House wants to produce the Cajun Zuffenhausen plant in Leipzig - where the same are assembled Panamera and Cayenne - starting in 2013.

Instead, according to the reported "Auto, Motor und Sport", the new Porsche Boxster and Cayman will be produced in the former Karmann plant in Osnabruck, where it will also assembled the new Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet in the second quarter of next year. The respected German magazine has taken over the interview with the "Neuen Zeitung Osnabrücker" by Ludger Teeken, Manager of Osnabruck. The assembly of the new Boxster and Cayman will start the final quarter of 2012, when the German workforce system will be enhanced up to 1800 employees within the investment of EUR 300 million by Volkswagen.

I researched and test drove everything in the price range (higher and lower). Hyundai Sonata may win some over for its looks, but driving the two, the Suzuki Kizashi wins hands down. In many respects, it really does compare well with German cars (VW Passat, Audi, etc) but saves you LOTS of money (purchase; maintenance; fuel consumption). The list of standard equipment far surpasses the competition. It's solidly built, and you can drive it like a sports car. The 4-cyl engine is limited, but if you use the gears well (whether the 6-spd manual, or the CVT with auto-shift control), you can leave the Toyota's in the dust! It's a good looking car on the exterior - not too flashy, but distinguished. The interior is superb for a car in this price range.Driving at a steady 65 mph, I have gotten 36 mpg in pure highway driving; average city/hwy mixed is over 30.My only hesitation before purchasing was the distance I had to go to find the nearest dealer. But if you love to drive, check this one out!

This isn't the SUV for everyone. But for me, it was the right choice. First off, these can be had very cheap. I walked out the door for $20,000 even including tax and title. Second, it's a real truck, so I can do light duty on the trails in Northern Arizona. Then again, it does have 20? rims, which looks great, but really reduces the off road capability. Still, when you drive on the smooth roads of Phoenix, having that rim really helps plant the car. Previously, I?ve had plenty of sports cars that were far rougher than this, but I can see others looking for more refinement. The size was the biggest draw for me. My wife had a RAV4 when we met, and it was far too small. We looked at the Escape and thought the same thing. The full size SUVs were far too large for us as well. This was the only domestic branded SUV that fit the size we wanted. Performance is adequate for me. I traded in a Cadillac CTS, and it?s slightly below that. Again, it?s not a speed demon like the rides I had when I was younger, but it gets the job I want done. About the only concern I have is the reliability. That seems to be a tossup when you buy a Chrysler.

2011 Hyundai i40: European debut at the Geneva Motor Show

Hyundai has confirmed the debut of the i40 for the European market at the next Geneva Motor Show. Entered in the D segment, the car will debut initially bodied station wagon, and only in 2011 will be added to the Saloon variant. For all will be given the formula of 5-year warranty, including roadside assistance.

Designed by the German design center specifically for European customers, returning to the family feeling of the latest products and how ix35 ix20, the i40 will offer first-class technology solutions in terms of emissions, with versions BlueDrive and values competitive consumption and emissions. The range of engines will still be unveiled at the launch in Geneva next March, and on that occasion to find out if Europe is also planned a hybrid version, in the wake of the Sonata Hybrid in the U.S. proposal.
