2009 2010 Lincoln Navigator Reviews

The 2009 Lincoln Navigator adds additional standard equipment including Front Park Assist, Lincoln SYNC, EasyFuel capless fuel fill, rain-sensing wipers, heated second-row seats and rear-view camera system. In addition, a next generation, voice-activated navigation system and SIRIUS Travel Link are available. The Monochrome Limited Edition Package for 2009 features unique badging and body-color exterior elements including the lower grille, lower body-side cladding and power folding heated memory mirrors with puddle lamps. The Monochrome package is offered in four exterior colors: White Platinum Tri-coat, Black Clearcoat, Vapor Silver Clearcoat Metallic and Stone Green Clearcoat Metallic. Inside, the package includes unique black carpet, floor mats, Ebony wood trim and unique Stone or Camel seats with black leather inserts and black piping
Make no mistake. The Navigator still has ample style, especially with a new, shiny, silver-colored grille that reminds me of someone with braces on his teeth.
The Navigator has retained its segment-first, power-deploying running boards that automatically come out from under the doors whenever a car door is opened. They're part of an option package.
The Navigator's 5.4-liter single overhead cam Triton V8 has good, confident sounds.
But it puts out 300 horsepower and 365 lb-ft of torque at 3750 rpm, which is far less than the 403 horsepower and 417 lb-ft of torque in an Escalade. It's also less power than what's in a Yukon Denali.
Meantime, Mercedes' GL320 CDI gets 398 lb-ft of torque starting as low as 1400 rpm from its much smaller-displacement, diesel V6.
Too bad the Navigator's lower power doesn't translate into better fuel mileage.
A two-wheel-drive Navigator was rated by the federal government at 13 miles a gallon in city driving and 18 mpg on the highway for 2007, or sixth worst among all SUV nameplates. This drops to 12/17 mpg with the federal government's stricter computation formula in 2008.
No matter. In combined city/highway travel, the test Navigator 4X4 got only 14.3 mpg. But note that because four-wheel-drive Navigators are exempt from government fuel economy ratings, the government doesn't publish official estimates for these Navigator models.

New SUV Volvo XC90 2009 2010 : Reviews and Specification

This seven-seat SUV has a flat-folding third row. The stability-control system can react to an impending rollover. There's good room for four 6-footers in the first two rows, although rear doors should open wider.
The XC90 seats up to seven with the third-row seat, which is difficult to reach and best suited to several children. That seat is standard in the V8 version and in the optional Versatility package for the other two XC90 trim levels. That package also contains rear air conditioning and third-row side-curtain airbags.
An available integrated child booster seat flips out of the middle of the second-row seat. If the XC90 has a third-row seat, the child seat can slide forward so it's just behind the two front seats to improve contact between a child and front occupants.
Second-and third-row seats fold flat to enlarge the cargo area, which is fairly roomy with the second-row seatbacks in their normal position. Facilitating loading is a two-piece tailgate. The V8 engine is strong and smooth, and a new six-cylinder is standard. Reliability has been worse than average for the V8 and average for the six-cylinder.The new engine is the only gasoline V8 with strict Ultra-Low Emissions Vehicle II status. Packaging for the new engine allows the XC90 to maintain high head-on and 40-mph offset-crash properties.
The new V8 represents a big investment for Ford, which likes to spread good components around. So watch for the new engine in other Volvos and perhaps Ford's new Five Hundred and Mercury Montego sedans, which some feel needs a more potent engine

The Impreza WRX is the performance version of Subaru’s Impreza all-wheel-drive compact, offered in sedan and hatchback version with the rally-inspired high-performance WRX STI at the top of the lineup. Redesigned for 2008, Subaru boosted the performance of the Impreza WRX for 2009 and added the 2.5 GT to the Impreza lineup, powered by the previous 224-horsepower WRX engine combined with an automatic transmission. The WRX was introduced for the 2002 model year when the Impreza 2-door was discontinued and Impreza was only offered as a 4-door sedan or wagon. The powerful WRX STi was added for 2004. For 2008 the Impreza was totally redesigned with a longer wheelbase that improves ride, interior space and utility. The new 4-door is 4.5 inches longer than the previous sedan and 6.5 inches longer than the 5-door models. The 4-door sedan shares the same design in the front with the 5-door but is differentiated by red light lenses and a chrome strip below the trunk at the rear

The new-generation Chevrolet Tahoe promises to lead the full-size SUV class for years to come. New, trim styling, a quiet, exemplary interior, fuel-saving V8 and impressive ride and handling puts this large SUV head and shoulders above others.

The 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe receives a new 6-speed automatic transmission that is standard with the Vortec 5.3-liter V8 and the new Vortec 6.2-liter V8 offered on the LTZ trim. The best-selling full-size SUV in the country since 2001, the Tahoe is valued for how many people it can carry—up to nine—and its towing capacity, which tops out at 7,700 pounds.
The Tahoe already has a reputation as a top large SUV, having been named No. 2 in its segment in the annual Initial Quality Study of automotive researcher J.D. Power and Associates for three years, from 2003 to 2005. The longer-wheelbase version of Tahoe, the Chevrolet Suburban, has held the No. 1 spot. Power's IQS measures owner complaints about their vehicles in the early months of ownership. In 2004, the Tahoe also topped the full-size SUV segment in Power's Dependability Study, which tallies owner complaints over the first three years of ownership.
The new Vortec 6.2.-liter features a lightweight aluminum block and variable valve timing, and is rated at 395 horsepower and 417 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful Tahoe engine. Other updates include OnStar 8.0 with Turn-by-Turn navigation and Destination Download; Bluetooth connectivity; Side Blind Zone Alert System available on LTZ; and available backup camera display in rearview mirror. LTZ upgrades include heated and cooled 12-way power front seats with perforated leather; body-side moldings with chrome accent; new rear fascia with chrome accent and trailer hitch cover; brushed metal steering wheel trim; sill plates with embossed logo; Centerpoint Surround Sound Bose speaker system; and optional 20-inch chrome-clad wheels.

New Kia Forte Koup 2010 : Reviews amd Specification

New Kia Forte Koup 2010 : Reviews amd Specification
There had been a rumor that the Forte Koup will have 1.6L Turbo which produces 200bhp, but it turned out to be wrong at this time.. But the production model is almost the same as the concept. I like it. Natural progression ... Kia really lifted their game with the sweetly styled Forte sedan ... this coupe adds another attractive alternative at the more affordable end of the market. No, not out of ideas. This is what the Koreans have been doing for the past 10 years. Mish mash design cues from a bunch of different cars. Remember those weird looking kia sedans with the circle headlights and Jaguar s-type like rears? But I have to say they're getting really good at it. I like this car.. this has aftermarket tuner potential.
Styling details of note include wrap-around headlights, the aggressive air intakes, dual tailpipes and a rear diffuser. Two trim levels on offer are the EX and SX. The EX is the standard Forte Koup and it arrives with features like a 2.0-litre 156hp (115kW) and 144 pound-feet engine with Continuously Variable Valve Timing, a 5-speed manual or an optional 4-speed automatic transmission and 16-inch alloy wheels.

The higher-spec SX has a 2.4-litre straight-four motor with 173hp (127kW) and 168 pound-feet of torque. It returns 22mpg in city driving and 32mpg under highway conditions when mated to the 6-speed manual.

In other motorcycles, vibration generated from inside the engine by the vertical motion (inertial force) of the piston and rotating motion (centrifugal force) of the crankshaft, is transmitted through the handlebars, seat and footpegs to the rider. The engine balancer technology in Suzuki GS150R seeks to minimize such vibration in order to deliver a more comfortable riding experience. Moreover, the balancer system is quipped with balancer-driven gear fitted with a rubber damper for reducing the impact noise generated by its meshing with the balancer-driven- gear. guys i have taken a test drive of GS150R it is really a wonderfull bike, though it seems to be less powerfull as compared to fz but it is definetly economical with respect to average and and the price of bike fz nearly goes in the house of 70,000+, where as GS150r is in the range of 65,000-67,0000 (on road price), also its will definetly give milage atleast 2-3kmpl more than FZ , and the sommothness is almost 20%-25% more than FZ and other bike , i think it is even smoother than unicorn, gear box is like butter, according to me only power and look is not important also the comfort and feeling while riding is important. the bike is surely giving more smoother ride than other bikes. according to me it will surely hit the market.i suggest friends take a test drive and than leave a comment., expecting the reply on this comment from a guy who had taken a test drive.

Aprilia explored four different frame options before deciding on this one. One of the four options included exotic materials that rendered the option too expensive and Aprilia had to scrap this despite the fact it would have been the best option. The final chassis is made of cast and pressed aluminum that’s been welded together. This new chassis is considerably stiffer than the old RSV model but features the same high shiny finish. The new swingarm weighs 11.2 pounds. Another interesting weight issue is the fact that Aprilia once again was able to reduce unsprung weight by reducing the weight of the wheels by 2.2 pounds. Aprilia says it is now on the very limit of how light a motorcycle wheel can be before vibration and stability become an issue.
The 999.6cc V4 engine is just brutally powerful and the delivery of those 180 horsepower happens at a blisteringly fast pace above 10,000 rpm. At 12,500 rpm the full onslaught is available and the aggressive but very entertaining to use rev limiter allows for nice progression between close corners without the need to shift up and lose time.Claudio Lombardi, who is the main architect of the new Aprilia V65, preached his gospel to us at the press conference. Lombardi explained about the polar movements of the V4 inertia and a perfect balance even surpassing a V90 by a margin. Aprilia chose the V4 over both the V2 and in-line four concepts simply for the fact it was the best for balance and power. Leo Mercanti once again reminded us that this project has been carried forward by a Piaggio investment so the choice of a V4 was absolutely to ensure the new RSV4 could have as strong a birth as possible. The V4 60 was explored first, but Lombardi and his team found that only V65 would ensure the right shape airbox for the power Aprilia was looking for. The V65 layout also allows for a larger bore in the future. To illustrate Lombardi explained that the 1000cc V4 has a width of 225mm, while an in-line four is 400mm. With narrowness ensured on the outside, Aprilia also wanted a high compression inside. The 13:1 compression ratio was achieved through usage of something called Squish valves. Lombardi explained that the RSV4 features a very efficient post combustion system. Reed valves installed near the exhaust ducts are the enabling innovation here. Finally the RSV4 uses electronically controlled variable length intake ducts enabling shorter duct at higher revs and longer at lower revs where the final difference is of 35mm.

New Victory Hammer Freedom 106/6 V Twin 2009 2010 : Reviews and Specification

Powered by a 97 hp Victory Freedom 106/6 V Twin that is calibrated especially for these models, these Muscle Cruisers deliver sporty performance that inspires riders. With unique styling that looks like it's straight from the custom shop, these Custom Cruisers turn heads up and down the street and also deliver a great Victory riding experience.ustom masters Arlen and Cory Ness have once again created incredible customized versions of Victory models that will be produced in limited numbers. Make sure you're counted in. The 2009 Hammer has an aggressive arms-forward riding position. Our first ride of the day is the 2009 Hammer. Big pipes, big tire, big engine. It only takes a quick glance to realize why it is considered a muscle cruiser. The rear end is anchored by a black swath of Dunlop rubber. The 250mm-wide Dunlop Elite 3 is showcased beneath a short, wide rear fender that’s cut high and away from the tire. The cylinders on the Freedom 106/6 V-Twin stand tall and look powerful within the bike’s A-frame. V-shaped handlebars invite you to climb on and give it a rev. A short, color-matched front fender cups a tall 18-inch front Stingray wheel with dual 300mm floating rotors waiting at the ready to put a stop to the action. Dual staggered slash-cut exhaust chrome-up the right side nicely.

Hopping on board, I give the clutch lever a firm squeeze and thumb the electric starter. The Hammer thrums to life as dual 45mm throttle bodies are electronically-fed into healthy 101mm cylinders. The dual exhaust barks with each twist of the throttle and sends familiar vibrations through my body. The pipes are loud but not overpowering, and the engine idles with nominal vibes.

New Yamaha Raiders 2009 2010 : Photo, Reviews and Specification

Tell you what i agree its a nice bike i own one my self and it lived up to all the expectaions i had for it. Brut force, bad ass handling, and one thing i do agree the pipes suck, but if your lookin to step it up a lot look for the the Reaper Tips, these things rumble and you dont have to replace the whole exhaust, and no tuning the injection ports or any of that crap so check em out. but after all i like the bike alot big time.Yamaha taps the custom world for styling cues on its 2008 Star Raider including a chopped-out rake, raised handlebars, and the widest tire yet in its 'Liner line. With plenty of power on tap in a surprisingly agile package, the Star Raider's ability to carve lines over curvy mountain roads on our Southern Oregon stomping grounds made me forget sometimes that I was on a big cruiser. The chrome 2-1-2 down-swept exhausts have an EXUP valve that aims to boost torque in the 2500-3500 rpm range and includes environmentally-friendly twin catalyzers and an oxygen sensor. While it keeps the EPA happy, it does cost the bike a little in its growl. The Raider is no "Captain America." This thing would blow the socks off Peter Fonda's iconic scoot.

Central to this claim is the Raider's 1854cc air-cooled pushrod engine. The merits of the 48-degree V-Twin has already been developed in the Roadliner, but it only takes a light twist of the throttle for riders to realize that what was established in the Roadliner now packs even more punch. The power comes on early and kept me pinned to the back of my seat in every gear. Star claims the Raider reachs peak torque at 2500 rpm, and power numbers from our Dynojet 200i substantiate the claim with a reading of 102.8 ft-lb of torque at 2600 rpm. Getting up to freeway speed is a cinch. The throttle position sensor is dialed in to the computer-controlled twin-bore fuel-injection monitors and keeps the wide-angle 12-hole injectors feeding the forged pistons with a light twist of the wrist. The fuel injectors worked seemlessly for smooth throttle pick-up that starts low in the broad powerband. Better yet, the power keeps on coming throughout the rev range until it finally tapers off slowly between 4000-5000 rpm.

The New Kawasaki Voyager 2009 2010 : reviews and Specs

The 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Nomad has color-matched hard saddlebags that look sharp in two-tone paint.he cockpit of the Voyager is clean and practical and is layed out similar to an automotive's dash. The top case of the 2009 Voyager holds a claimed 13.2 gallons and passed the two helmet test. The 2009 Kawasaki Voyager looks sharp in its Candy Plasma Blue paint.
The 1700cc engine in the 2009 Vulcan Cruisers has a 102mm X 104mm bore/stroke and pushes out a claimed 108 ft-lb of torque. The 2009 Vulcan Cruisers have been switched from shaft to belt drive.
Cruise control comes standard on the '09 Vulcan Voyager. The 2009 Vulcan 1700 Classic LT features top-grain, reinforced cowhide saddlebags with chrome buckles. The 2009 Vulcan Classic LT features a big acrylic windshield, studded leather rider and passenger seats and leather bags. Wind protection on a motorcycle can be a good thing, especially when riding through tempermental Pacific coast weath. The 2009 Vulcan Nomad is distinguishable from the other 1700 Vulcan Cruisers by its color-matching hard saddlebags and its lack of a topcase. The 2009 Vulcan Classic benefits the most by the bump in displacement among the 1700 Kawasaki cruisers.

New Honda CBX Twister 2009 2010 : Photo, Reviews , Specs

Last but not the least, sources from the industry is also hinting at the high likelihood of Honda coming in with their naked quarter liter bike, the CBF 250, also known as the CBX 250 Twister in Brazil. The probable price will be in the Fazer 250’s category, i.e., around Rs 1, 00,000.While the Honda and Yamaha 250s have a higher power to weight ratio than the Hero Honda and Bajaj machines, the Indian machines have an advantage when it comes to pricing. But then, as I wrote earlier, there are bikers out here who will be willing to reimburse extra for that tuning split logo on the tank, and for possess a Honda machine. Whatever, one can safely expect these bikes to compete with each other next year. Yes, we have waiting for a long time, and it all seems value it!

New YZF R 15 2009 2010 : Reviews, Photos and Specs

Racing Instinct. - Passing on the “R series” DNA -
- Humachine Technologies & Sensual Racing Form -

The YZF-R1 and YZF-R6 are equipped with under cowls that are based on the image of a diffuser, to give them the best form for aero-management. These are not cowls for simply enclosing the engine, but forms composed of blade surfaces that actively control airflow. This spirit has been directly inherited by the YZF-R15.
“Harmony between rider and machine.” YAMAHA's Human Technology involves studying the form of the motorcycle actually in motion with the rider on it. The R series is the embodiment of 1) a wide frontal space that protects the rider, 2) an easy to ride seating area that gives riders the freedom of movement and allows them to steer effectively, 3) the glamorous tail treatment that takes into account the management of airflow behind the rider, and 4) a sensual racing form that brings all 3 of these elements together in a harmonious package. These characteristics have been splendidly reproduced in the YZF-R15.
Additionally, the designs were developed in the same modeling room where YZF-R1 designers worked. Information was shared, ensuring that the R lineage would be transmitted. In addition, the model also incorporates a multitude of adjustments for the Indian market including seat shape that allows for tandem riding (integrated with the main seat), tandem grips that are easy to grip and also contribute to the supersport design, and a riding position that takes into account comfort, etc. In other words, the YZF-R15 is characterized by a hybrid design that combines the world-class design of the “R” series with localized functions. The YZF-R15 was created to lead the supersport category in India.

2009 Suzuki GSX-R600 : Reviews , Photo and Specification

That's one big exhaust 2009 Suzuki GSX-R600 .While getting a bit late in the product cycle, Suzuki's GSX-R is still easy to use for all skill-level riders .It still has plenty of power to get the front end light .Though unchanged for '09, the Suzuki's brakes are quite very capable .Suzuki's gear-indicator is a nice touch, though the different power modes just plain aren't needed on a 600 .It may not be new but Atlas was still able to put up the third-fastest time of the Superpole session on the GSX-R - 1:21.03.Bold New Graphics and white wheels highlight the changes for '09. We've got the admit, those white wheels do look goodI believe it's more of a toy of us young computer generation. The bike doesn't make enough power to need. About the only place I would is in the rain, but that's just me. For a beginner rider it may be great. As for how it works, it has variable settings delivery from the ECU which limits the horsepower and its delivery on the B and C modes, while A mode is full steam as well as the standard mode the bike starts up with. If you just turn the key and ride you get A, while B and C have to be selected via a toggle switch on the right handlebar. Putting power to the ground on the Suzuki has never been an issue and most all commended its rider-friendliness, but when it comes to the “exhilaration factor” and sheer speed, the GSX-R is starting to show signs of its age. While it was slightly updated last year, this basic platform has been around since 2005. It still pulled solid dyno numbers (105.15 hp @ 13,000 rpm), but on the track if felt far less exciting than just about everything else. This was also partially echoed during our pilgrimage out to HPCC for performance testing, as it was tied for third in top-speed testing with a 162.22 mph pass as its best. Also, with its very easy-to-use clutch and extremely precise launches it mustered a 11.11 @ 133.74 mph, leaving it tied for third-place in the quarter-mile. While this is favorable, there is no doubt its weight (421.2 lbs.) and bulbous fairing played a major role in holding it back.2009 Suzuki GSX-R600 : Reviews , Photo and Specification

2009 Volkswagen CC Sport
Introduced just last year, the CC shares much of its architecture with the successful Volkswagen Passat - in fact, VW sells this car as the Passat CC in some countries. It is available with a choice of engines -- a well-liked turbocharged four-cylinder model and a more powerful V6 that few reviewers think is worth its price. Available all-wheel drive sets it apart from many competitors.
I feel as if Volkwagen designed a vehicle specifically for me, as a single 30-something without children looking for a surprise value in a well-rounded car. This certainly surprised me: I was 100% unaware of this car when I walked onto the lot and while waiting for a salesman was instantly drawn to the CC. When I saw a stick, I knew I had to drive, and as anyone who has driven the CC stick will tell you, once you drive it you are hooked! The combination of stunning looks, German engineering, efficient turbo engine and a great price made the CC the only car I was going to buy, the only question was the color. I chose Light Brown with the two tone interior.I can't say I've noticed as many people admiring the CC as when I got my last Jetta, but...I LOVE this car!
This is a fabulous car for the money. We compared BMW 325 and 328, Audi A5 Coupe, and Mercedes CLK 550 all in the price range of $45,000 to $79,000. The VW CC beat them all except the Mercedes for comfort, ride and handling. But at half the price the CC was a pretty close. We had a Lexus 450 SC before. The CC corners better, and has a smoother ride. Ok, not as much power. The Lexus had a V-8 but the 4 cyl engine is plenty of power 0 -60 in 7.6 seconds and we get 30 -31 mpg on the highway. One second vs much better gas mileage. That's a fair trade off and we don't get to burn as much imported oil2009 Volkswagen CC Sportl

The 2009 Eos is a 2-door, 4-passenger convertible, available in 4 trims, ranging from the Komfort to the Lux Got a great deal thru the internet at a local dealer in Van Nuys. They had the best price and were willing to give all transaction details to me before I would agree to visit the dealer. I was very impressed with Dustin. He gave a great delivery and has followed thru on all promises. The car is the BEST i have had yet. I had a Beetle Convertible on lease and wanted something different. This is exactly what I wanted. I looked at the BMW, I still think the VW is a much better value and has the maintenance included like the BMW.Upon introduction, the Komfort is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter, I4, 200-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 21-mpg in the city and 31-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional. The Lux PZEV is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter, I4, 200-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 22-mpg in the city and 29-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.
Volkswagen Eos 2009 2010 picture 1, pic 2, pic 3, pic 4, 2009 New Volkswagen Eos 2009 2010 Specs, 2009 New Volkswagen Eos 2009 2010 Sport , 2009 New Ford Everest, Specification 2009 New Volkswagen Eos 2009 2010 Spy Shoot, 2009 Volkswagen Eos 2009 2010 , 2009 New Ford Everest, 2009 New Ford Everest, 2009 Ford Everest, 2009 Volkswagen Eos 2009 2010 Wallpaper, 2009 Volkswagen Eos 2009 2010 Tune, 2009 New Volkswagen Eos 2009 2010 Road Test, 2009 New Volkswagen Eos 2009 2010 price, 2009 New Volkswagen Eos 2009 2010 overview Volkswagen Eos 2009 2010 picture 1, pic 2, pic 3, pic 4, 2009 New Volkswagen Eos 2009 2010 Specs, 2009 New Volkswagen Eos 2009 2010 Sport , 2009 New Ford Everest, Specification 2009 New Volkswagen Eos 2009 2010 Spy Shoot, 2009 Volkswagen Eos 2009 2010 , 2009 New Ford Everest, 2009 New Ford Everest, 2009 Ford Everest, 2009 Volkswagen Eos 2009 2010 Wallpaper, 2009 Volkswagen Eos 2009 2010 Tune, 2009 New Volkswagen Eos 2009 2010 Road Test, 2009 New Volkswagen Eos 2009 2010 price, 2009 New Volkswagen Eos 2009 2010 overview
Volkswagen Eos 2009 2010 : Reviews and Specs

Review: 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander

Review: 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander

Review: 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander
we have had our Outlander since December 06′ and we can’t say enough great things about it. Its also a V6 while this one tested here is a 4 banger - but between the V6 power, the totally bangin sound system, and the awd option, we love our Outlander. It doesn’t feel cheap, it has ginormous cargo volume, the split rear hatch is great for tailgating, and its fun to drive!! We were skeptical about buying a Mitsubishi product, but we have thoroughly enjoyed our fast, bumpin little suv.. I had wanted to buy one because I too like the outside looks. But seriously, it’s interior is not just bad, it’s horrible. The plastics are really hard and there isn’t much in terms of color inside besides black.
That being said, the CX-7 isn’t better at all, and the one’s you mentioned also are pretty bad. That’s why I stay from small crossovers, they cheapen them up because the buyers in that market aren’t looking at what I care about, my opinion - it’s a chick car market and in general women don’t know the difference. To be honest, the Saturn Vue is a good alternative to this, it’s actually nice inside. So is the Tiguan, then again it’s a VW so it will cost more, but you get what you pay for sometimes.
I also agree with LLL#3, they will be gone soon. The Galant is the #1 rental car at my company right now, and that’s where most of there sales came from.
The Outlander shares a few things with the Lancer GTS in the powertrain department. You’ll find the same 168-horsepower, 2.4-liter MIVEC four-cylinder motor and the same magnesium paddle shifters as the sporty compact car. While that might sound good, guess what happens when you ask the Lancer’s 2.4 to pull around the Outlander’s extra 55 pounds and brick-like styling? The answer: You had better not be running late.
Spec-wise, the Outlander needs at least a 10-count to get to 60 mph. In more real life applications, you’ll want to think before you jump out into moving traffic with only a small gap between cars, lest you hear an angry horn, or worse, a crunch. Highway passing or on ramps also can be a drawn out task.
If you’re dead set on an Outlander, a 3.0-liter, 220-horse V6 is available for a mere $600 more as part of the XLS package, which even includes automatic climate control, the third-row seat, 18-inch wheels and Bluetooth. Choose wisely.

New Alfa Romeo MiTo Veloce 2009 2010:

Alfa Romeo MiTo Veloce: Sub-GTA model with 180HP Debuts at AutoRAI . Looks good; just dump the white accents for body color and please get some different wheels. This treatment might look good on a Mini but not on the MiTo.With the 155HP 1.4 TB too milquetoast for hot hatch fans and 240HP GTA too hardcore/boy racer for many, something tells me this might be the sweet spot of the MiTo range...Such is the case with the Alfa Romeo MiTo Veloce that made its world premiere at the AutoRAI show in Holland. Other than these photos that were shot by our friends over at Autoblog.nl and some scattered information, there's nothing official on the car. Unofficially, it is said that the Veloce, which supposedly fits between the 155HP 1.4 TB model and the forthcoming 240HP GTA, is powered by a 180HP variant of the firm's 1.4-liter turbo engine.

General Motors has decided to expand its hybrid powertrain across one more member of its full-size SUV and pickup range, the luxury-laden GMC Yukon Denali Hybrid. Set to be unveiled to the public later this week at the New York International Auto Show, the Yukon Denali Hybrid is positioned as the flagship model in the GMC lineup.Like the Equinox, power is provided by two new engines which feature fuel-saving technologies such as direct injection and variable valve timing. The base 2.4-liter Ecotec four-cylinder engine produces 182 horsepower (136 kW) and returns an estimated 21 mpg city and 30 mpg highway. Models equipped with this engine will come with a "ECO" mode which is activated via a button on the center console, when the button is pressed it lowers the torque converter lockup speed to 1,125 rpm to maximize fuel economy. A 3.0-liter DOHC V-6 engine with 264 horsepower (197 kW) will also be available, it is expected to return an estimated 18 mpg city and 25 mpg highway. When equipped with all-wheel drive, the 2.4-liter Ecotec returns 20 mpg city and 27 mpg highway while the 3.0-liter V6 returns 17 mpg city and 24 mpg highway.
